Online X-Ray Technician Scholarships
Do you want some great financial news? If you want to become an x-ray technician, you only need to finish high school and attend a two-year college to obtain an associate’s degree such as a medical assistant associate degree program with an x-ray curriculum. Graduates of these programs also qualify to take the medical assistant exams given by the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants. Other monies are available to disabled students, to daughters and sons of fraternal organization members and more – the list may seem endless, and it does take some work to find these scholarships and grants. But, the effort is worth it if you can pay for the majority of your education through these funds.
Here are some ideas to research when looking for funds to pay for college:
- Look for funds that apply to x-ray technology or to the health care field.
- If you’re athletic, you might find a sports scholarship available from a specific organization or from the college of your choice.
- Are you a genius? Then look for college grants and scholarships based upon merit, or your grade point average.
- What do you do when you’re not attending school? Do you sing? Dance? Help others as a volunteer? You might be surprised at the number of scholarships and grants available to you for your outside activities.
